The Norwegian left-back spent seven seasons on Merseyside, before joining the Giallorossi in 2008 and playing in Serie A for three seasons.
“And of course it happened…. Liverpool – Roma in the semis!” Riise wrote on his official Twitter account.

“End of the day I’m freaking happy for both of my clubs reaching the semis and now one of them will be in the final. Amazing!!
