Inter are reportedly working on a four-way swoop, which would see Lautaro Martinez, Stefan de Vrij, Kevin Strootman and a left-back join this summer.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are confident that they will sign Martinez from Racing Club, despite Borussia Dortmund’s late interest in the striker.

As for De Vrij, the newspaper claims the Lazio defender has agreed a five-year contract with the Nerazzurri, worth €4.2m a season plus bonuses.

Furthermore, his recent discrepancy with Italy’s anti-doping agency over urine samples would not have put off the Beneamata.

Moving on to Strootman, La Gazzetta believes Inter may offer Marcelo Brozovic or Joao Mario plus cash for the Roma midfielder, as a means of getting around his €32m release clause.

Finally, the publication still expects Zenit St Petersburg left-back Domenico Criscito to return to Genoa, hence the Milan club’s interest in Juventus’ Kwadwo Asamoah, whose contract is also due to expire.
