There are reports that Torino coach Ivan Juric is ‘furious’ with director of sport Davide Vagnati over the lack of reinforcements.

According to Sportitalia, the situation erupted after a 1-0 pre-season friendly win over Apollon Limassol, decided by a late Antonio Sanabria header.

Tuttosport had already suggested that Juric was angry, so Vagnati visited the training camp in Austria to calm him down.

However, the latest reports point to that meeting having the opposite effect.

Juric also seemed to be sending a message to the club by fielding a starting XI of reserves and youth players, some of them out of position, as a way of showing how limited his options are.

Gleison Bremer was sold to Juventus for €50m including bonuses, but there is no replacement yet, while the midfield and attacking roles are also unfilled.

It is the second summer in a row that has seen Juric frustrated by the lack of requested reinforcements and he is not shy about complaining in public.
