The Rossoneri went down 3-1 to the Aquile in Serie A on Saturday night, meaning that Inzaghi’s men have taken just one point from their opening four league games in 2015.

Despite reportedly receiving assurances from President Silvio Berlusconi, Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports that the tactician’s fate will be decided on Tuesday.

Should the Diavolo fall to another defeat, Inzaghi’s position would come under severe scrutiny. Corriere della Sera states that Berlusconi was furious during the match at the weekend, phoning joint-CEO Adriano Galliani to vent his frustration.

The newspaper states that Mauro Tassotti would be the most likely candidate to replace Inzaghi, with the former midfielder being promoted from within.

The Gazzetta dello Sport also believes that Tassotti is favourite for the job, and will take over if the Rossoneri fail to progress to the semi-finals of the Coppa.

Milan will be boosted by the return of Keisuke Honda for the visit of Lazio in the Coppa on Tuesday, with the Japanese international having returned from the Asian Cup on Sunday morning, with Gazzetta reporting he’ll play from the start.
