Borja Valero’s move from Fiorentina to Inter will be confirmed next week, according to reports.

The Nerazzurri have been in talks for the midfielder for some time, but they’re currently under Financial Fair Play pressure.

They must raise €30m by June 30 to meet their pre-agreed targets, but Gianluca Caprari is set to join Sampdoria and the sale of Ever Banega to Sevilla will raise €9m.

From July 1 though, Inter will be unrestricted and can finally begin to make signings, with a deal for Milan Skriniar already agreed.

According to Corriere dello Sport, that’s when Valero will be officially signed, as Coach Luciano Spalletti wants a full squad for the start of pre-season training on July 6.

The Spanish midfielder should therefore arrive at the beginning of next week, having already agreed a contract at San Siro.
