Sandro Tonali seems set for a move to Milan, but Sky Sport Italia claims he must renew with Brescia first.

The broadcaster points out that Brescia patron Massimo Cellino has agreed to let Tonali leave on loan with an option to buy next summer.

But the Italy international’s contract with Brescia expires in June 2022 and the Rondinelle President doesn’t want any complications next summer.

The report says Cellino will only accept a loan deal with an option to buy if Tonali extends his current deal at the Mario Rigamonti.

If Milan fail to trigger the option to buy the player next summer, Cellino wants to avoid a scenario where Tonali returns to the club with only one year left on his deal.
