Roma defender Chris Smalling has returned to training and will, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, be ready for Sunday’s match against Inter.

The former England international could be back after almost two weeks out with a muscle problem in the right adductor, which he sustained in the 2-1 defeat to Napoli on July 5.

The newspaper reveals he trained with his teammates this afternoon and will be among the selected for the home game against the Nerazzurri this weekend.
