Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly prepared to splash out €30m on Brescia and Italy Under-21 midfielder Sandro Tonali.

According to L’Equipe, new PSG sporting director Leonardo is a big fan of Tonali, having looked at him when he worked for Milan.

The move would be an identikit of when the French giants signed Marco Verratti in 2012, despite the then-Pescara starlet possessing no top-flight experience at the time.

Brescia owner Massimo Cellino recently declared the 19-year-old was not for sale, but Calciomercato.it describes the chances of him staying with the Serie A new boys as ‘difficult’.

Tonali, who has been likened to Andrea Pirlo, is currently away on international duty with Italy at the European Under-21 Championship.
