Juventus reportedly have no plans of reuniting Maurizio Sarri with his former Napoli and Chelsea midfielder Jorginho.

Jorginho had been tipped to follow Sarri to Juve, with his agent only fuelling the speculation.

However, The Daily Mail writes there is ‘no prospect’ of the pair working together again in Turin.

That is because the 60-year-old wants Miralem Pjanic to be the deep-lying playmaker in his Bianconeri team.

The 27-year-old only joined Chelsea from Napoli last summer and went on to be a mainstay in Sarri’s Europa League-winning side.

However, his style of play was derided by the English Press, while fans felt he had forced N’Golo Kante out of his usual position in defensive midfield.

The newspaper concludes the Italian, who has four years left on his Chelsea contract, will be left to ‘revive his career’ under a new manager.
