Napoli are reportedly ready to sign a new €4m deal with Allan, tying him to the club until June 2024.

SportItalia journalist Alfredo Pedulla has claimed that the Brazilian midfielder is “one step away” from prolonging his stay at the San Paolo.

The contract extension starts at €4m but could increase due to bonuses over the next four seasons and will “not include a termination clause”.

The journalist claims Allan and Vice-President Edo De Laurentiis have cleared the air after clashing in the dressing room following the Champions League match against RB Salzburg.

During the first half of the campaign, the speculation around Allan’s relationship with the hierarchy at the club linked him with a move away from Naples, but now the report claims they are planning ahead together.

Pedulla also stated that Napoli have “practically bought both Stanislav Lobotka and Diego Demme”.

The Partenopei are eight in Serie A after the 3-1 defeat to Inter in their return from the break, and coach Gennaro Gattuso now prepares his team to face Lazio at the Olimpico on Saturday.
