Manchester United captain Ashley Young will definitely become an Inter player by the summer, reports BBC Sport.

It emerged late last night that Young had agreed terms with Inter, who were hopeful of negotiating a cut-price deal to sign him in January.

The 33-year-old, who can play anywhere down either flank, is out of contract in June and is therefore free to discuss moves abroad.

However, United chief Ed Woodward was then reported to have vetoed the idea of letting the Englishman leave midseason.
