Agnelli and Lotito are both in Malta for a European Club Association summit, where the Old Lady chief spoke on Thursday, and are staying at the same hotel.

Juve were thought to have focused their attentions on bringing back Paul Pogba, but it is argued their interest was only a smokescreen to soften Lotito’s demands of €100m.

Instead, a fee of €70-80m could be agreed with the possibility of players heading to the Olimpico in exchange.

Il Corriere concludes the Serb will leave Lazio this summer and that both Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City are also interested.
