La Gazzetta dello Sport claim Juventus have practically agreed terms with Sassuolo for Gianluca Scamacca, signing the striker for €20-25m.

It will be a loan with obligation to buy after 18 months, a way of spreading out the cost of the operation.

The report from Alfredo Pedullà suggests Genoa have already accepted the current one-season loan will be abandoned after six months.

Juve are expected to pay somewhere between €20m and €25m, including various bonuses and add-ons.

Milan had also been interested in Scamacca, but their focus for January is more on a centre-back and defensive midfielder.

Genoa are due to face Juventus in the Coppa Italia Round of 16 on Wednesday evening and Scamacca may well start the match.
