Inter have reportedly overtaken Juventus in the race for Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian.

Juve appeared to have agreed a loan with an option to buy for Darmian, but Max Allegri’s insistence on keeping Leonardo Spinazzola looks to have put pay to that deal.

According to Calciomercato.com, Inter have offered the Italy international an improved salary of €3.8m, compared to the Bianconeri’s €3.5m.

It comes after the Beneamata were reported to have doubts over securing Atletico Madrid loanee Sime Vrsaljko on a permanent basis.
