Inter are reportedly working on a deal to sign Shakhtar Donetsk attacker Bernard in January.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, Bernard has long been admired by Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio, while technical co-ordinator Walter Sabatini wanted him at Roma.

The diminutive Brazilian’s contract expires at the end of the season, but the Nerazzurri would be prepared to pay a fee in order to bring him in next month.

However, the website warns Chinese side Hebei Fortune are ready to offer the 25-year-old a lucrative €10m salary.
