Tottenham are reportedly interested in bringing Inter outcast Diego Godin to London this summer, as Jose Mourinho returns for the Uruguayan defender.

The former Inter coach, now at the helm of Spurs, had allegedly tried to bring the centre-half to Old Trafford during his period as Manchester United boss.

Godin has played 17 Serie A games this term and Tuttosport reveals that Mourinho is currently monitoring his situation at San Siro.

But he might face competition from his former employer, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is mentioned by the newspaper as another possible option for the player capped 135 times by Uruguay.

But the report also claims that Valencia are the ones leading the chase at the moment, with Godin allegedly interested in a return to Spain.
