Chelsea outcast Olivier Giroud has reportedly agreed to be reunited with Antonio Conte, who sees him as the perfect signing to boost Inter's numbers in attack.

Since Alexis Sanchez picked up a serious injury during international duty with Chile, Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku have been carrying the attack at the Giuseppe Meazza.

At the same time, Inter have been linked to a new forward ahead of the next transfer window in January and now Giroud might look to follow his former coach to Italy.

The World Cup winner haven’t been included in Frank Lampard’s plans at the Blues this season, currently being the third choice behind both Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi.

Inter have been linked to the French attacker and the Gazzetta dello Sport claims the player has already given the all-clear for the Nerazzurri.

After working under Conte at the Stamford Bridge, the forward knows the Inter coach well and reports claim he will come on a deal worth around €7m.

Giroud has scored five goals in 44 Premier League matches (most of them as a substitute) for Chelsea, but he contributed with 11 goals in 14 games when the Blues secured the Europa League under Maurizio Sarri last season.
