Fiorentina have reportedly opened talks with Fernando Llorente over a possible free transfer for the ex-Juventus striker.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Fiorentina are showing ‘strong interest’ in Llorente and the first contacts have already been made.

The 34-year-old is currently available on a free transfer after his Tottenham Hotspur contract expired, although he could be offered an extension by the Champions League finalists.
