At 22, the Viola youngster has already been capped 17 times by Italy and his services has been sought after for a while, but President Rocco Commisso has been forced to respond to rumours regarding his star player in recent weeks.

Now, the Rome based newspaper claims the Fiorentina starlet wants to keep working for his current directors, having bonded with both the President and CEO Joe Barone.

The report points out the ‘excellent relationship’ between the Chiesa family and the Viola hierarchy as a pivotal factor to help the youngster focus ‘solely on his football’.

This season, Chiesa has played 23 games in Serie A, contributing six goals and five assists in the process, and reportedly looks set to remain for at least another season.
