There are reports in Italy that Mario Balotelli was the victim of attempted blackmail by an 18-year-old girl while he was playing for Nice.
According to the Giornale di Vicenza newspaper, the current Brescia forward had a brief relationship with the girl from Vicenza when she was 17.
She had at the time assured him that she was not a minor.
After they had slept together, it is alleged that she then revealed her real age and demanded €100,000 to keep quiet.
