Bakayoko has pushed for a return to San Siro and Chelsea have eventually agreed to let the player move on loan with an option to buy next summer.

The 26-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Monaco, arrived for €40m in July 2017, but didn’t manage to convince the Londoners.

His contract at Stamford Bridge expires in June 2022 and Chelsea initially wanted to sell the player this summer, but Milan have offered to take him off their hands permanently in 2021.
