Milan have reportedly accepted a bid from Villarreal for Carlos Bacca, a loan with €15.5m option to buy.

The striker has been moving closer to a return to Spain over the past 48 hours, and left training early yesterday.

It was initially expected that a deal would be reached for a loan, with a  €16-18m obligation to buy next summer.

However, calciomercato.com is now reporting a done deal but with a different structure to the operation.

However, calciomercato.com is now reporting a done deal but with a different structure to the operation.

According to the website, the Rossoneri have accepted a €2.5m loan, with an option to buy for €15.5m.

Gianluca Di Marzio is also reporting that the Liga side will have an option to buy, rather than a mandatory clause.

That means if Bacca doesn’t impress at the Madrigal, he will return to the Diavolo on June 30 next year.

It’s expected that the transfer will be completed today, with Bacca ready to fly to Valencia this afternoon, before heading to Vila-real to sign his contract.
