Milan’s Europa League opponents Stade Rennais will most likely be without star man Enzo Le Fée for both legs of their play-off.

The Rossoneri play the first leg at San Siro on February 15, then have the decider on French soil on February 22.

Rennes thrashed Sochaux 6-1 in the Coupe de France yesterday, but there was also bad news when creative midfielder Le Fée was stretchered off with a hamstring injury.

According to L’Equipe, tests have confirmed a fairly serious injury and the €20m signing is almost certain to miss both those Europa League play-off matches against Milan.

Le Fée plays behind the strikers and made 27 competitive appearances for Rennes this season, contributing five assists.

That includes three assists in six Europa League matches.

Rennes are also set to miss Fabian Rieder with a fractured metatarsal, who plays in a similar tactical role to Le Fée, leaving the team rather short-staffed in that area of the pitch.
