Pepe Reina’s agent says his client will return to playing for Liverpool next season following his loan spell at Napoli.

The Spanish goalkeeper’s future has been the subject of much speculation throughout the year, with Partenopei boss Rafa Benitez keen to keep hold of his compatriot on a permanent basis.
However, the possibility of a transfer to San Paolo appears remote and, speaking to Tutto Napoli, Manuel Garcia Quilon confirmed Reina intends to honour his contract at Anfield.
“I am aware of the rumours circulating about the future of Reina,” he said. “But I confirm to you that Pepe will play for Liverpool next season.
“Yes [there will be no Napoli return]. Reina will respect his contract with the English club.”
