Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina says Arkadiusz Milik “has a great future ahead” and compares him to Robert Lewandowski.
The Polish striker joined the Partenopei from Ajax this summer, and has already scored six goals in seven appearances.
Reina played with Milik’s compatriot Lewandowski at Bayern Munich, and he compared the two forwards.
“Lewi has more experience and has won more than Arek,” the Spaniard explained to UEFA’s official website.

“Arek has a great future ahead of him though, and I’m sure he’ll be a key player for us very soon. It’s been a pleasure to concede goals to strikers like them in training.
“Can Milik reach Lewandowski’s level? It won’t be easy, but the potential is there. There’s six or seven years between them, so we have to be patient.
“I’m sure he’ll do well at Napoli and continue to grow as a player and a person. When he’s 25 or 26 and has matured completely then we’ll see what he can do.
“I’m sure he’ll have a fantastic career.”
Reina returned to Naples last year after a season with Bayern, and was asked for his views on the city.
“It’s fantastic, the people are warm like in the south of Spain, where I come from. There’s so much chaos in the streets, it’s a unique city, but when you adapt to its rhythms you fall in love.
“Life is really nice here.
“I’d also like to thank the people for the love they’ve shown me over the last three years. Obviously there’s room for improvement, but things are going well and I think all the building blocks are there to play good football in the coming years.
“That’s both in Italy and in Europe.”
