Tijjani Reijnders is increasingly close to joining Milan as the Dutch midfielder has been left out of AZ Alkmaar’s squad for their friendly against Standard Liege.

Multiple reports in Italy claim Milan have raised their offer to sign the 24-year-old who has already agreed on personal terms with the Serie A giants.

Reijnders has been left out of AZ’s squad for today’s friendly against Standard Liege, a further hint that he could soon be on his way out.

Wednesday’s printed edition of Gazzetta (page 2) confirms the Rossoneri have raised their bid for the Dutch club narrowing their €25m asking price.

Stefano Pioli is in a hurry to welcome the 24-year-old midfielder and wants him to join the team for the pre-season tour in the USA which will start in nine days.

Meantime, Milan are ready to announce the signing of Christian Pulisic from Chelsea. The American winger landed in Milan on Wednesday morning to undergo his medical with the Serie A giants.
