Fiorentina director Daniele Prade is worried that refereeing decisions could cost his team in the race for Champions League football.

The Viola were beaten 2-1 at home by Inter on Saturday in a game in which Mauro Icardi scored a controversial goal for the visitors.

“We feel damaged,” Prade told Radio Rai. “Of course the decision has been accepted, they can happen.

“What we can’t do is allow refereeing decisions to stop us from getting into the Champions League, as happened last season.

“We don’t want to find ourselves in the same situation again.

“We have now lost three important points on Napoli and Inter because of refereeing decisions.

“That could make the difference at the end of the season.”
