Fabrizio Pasqua has been confirmed as the referee for the rescheduled Serie A match between Milan and Genoa on Wednesday.

Pasqua is one of Serie A’s newest faces, having only been promoted to the top tier last season.

Joining the 35-year-old at San Siro are assistants Giacomo Paganessi and Damiano Di Iorio, while Gianluca Manganiello is the fourth official and Paolo Silvio Mazzoleni will be the VAR, with Luca Mondin alongside him.

The match was initially scheduled for the opening day of the season but was moved to Halloween after the collapse of the Morandi bridge in Genoa, which killed 41 people.
