Harry Redknapp is keeping Milan on tenterhooks, as he now claims Gareth Bale and Rafael Van der Vaart will be fit for their meeting.

Bale missed the Champions League first leg, won 1-0 by Tottenham at San Siro, with a back injury that has kept him out for over a month.

The Welsh wizard was also expected to miss out on the return match at White Hart Lane on Wednesday evening, but that might not be the case.

“I'm hoping Bale will be fit. He feels OK. He has just got to push himself through it now. We'd love him back. We'll wait and see,” said Redknapp.

“Rafa is the same. Rafa will not be fit for Sunday, I think, but there is a chance he will be fit for Milan. We'll have to wait and see.”

Van der Vaart is dealing with a persistent calf problem and is not expected to face Wolves this weekend.
