Lautaro Martinez reached 101 goals in Serie A in Inter‘s 4-0 victory over Lecce and asked two questions while leaving the pitch smiling on Sunday: ‘Are you happy? And the fans?’
Lautaro Martinez was praised by Inter and his teammates on Sunday as he contributed to a 4-0 away victory at Lecce with another brace.
The Argentinean striker is Serie A’s leading scorer with 22 goals in 23 games and his two goals in Lecce means El Toro has now found the net 101 times in Italy’s top flight.
There were plenty of reactions in the aftermath of the game, especially on social media.
Marcus Thuram praised his teammate with an Instagram story, while the Nerazzurri shared several pictures and videos to celebrate their captain’s achievement.
One showed Lautaro leaving the pitch at the Stadio Via Del Mare, while sarcastically asking Inter’s social media manager: ‘Are you happy? And the Inter fans?’
The Nerazzurri shared another funny Instagram post showing Davide Frattesi hugging Lautaro with this caption: ‘Tell me again how you scored 101 goals.’
