Adrien Rabiot and Weston McKennie’s recovery time remains uncertain, and both will miss Sunday’s away game at Napoli, Football Italia understands.

Rabiot and McKennie suffered injuries during Juventus‘ 3-2 victory over Frosinone on Sunday. The French midfielder was subbed off in the first half with an ankle problem, while McKennie dislocated his left shoulder in the second half.

Football Italia understands both midfielders underwent medical tests on Monday morning. Exams confirmed ankle dislocation for Rabiot and shoulder dislocation for McKennie.

They will surely miss Sunday’s away game at Napoli and Juventus’ medical staff will assess their recovery time in the coming days.

McKennie has provided five assists in Serie A this season, including two for Dusan Vlahovic against Frosinone on Sunday. The American midfielder was praised by Tuttosport on Monday and was called the ‘King of assists’ by the Turin-based paper. His contract at the Allianz Stadium runs out in June 2025.

Rabiot has four goals and three assists in 23 appearances across all competitions this season. His current deal in Turin runs out in June.
