Fabrizio Ravanelli has claimed that Roma have been a ‘revelation’ this season, and believes that they can challenge Juventus next term.

The former Bianconeri goalscorer believes that Giallorossi Coach Rudi Garcia has done an amazing job – but has been even more impressed by Antonio Conte’s ‘hunger’ for success.

“I’ve been slightly surprised by both teams,” he told Radio Onda Libero.

“But Conte is a great Coach and continues to be hungry for success despite everything he’s already won.

“But for me, Roma have been the revelation. I think everyone expected Napoli to be the team pushing Juve.

“But instead [sporting director Walter] Sabatini made the right choice in appointing Garcia.

“At the start of the season he changed a few things and brought the group together – but also adapted to the Italian way.

“They’ve been unlucky to come up against an amazing Juve, but I think they can start a cycle of success.”
