Fabrizio Ravanelli says Juventus must believe they can knock out Real Madrid – “it’s a dream, but dreams can come true”.

“I think it will be hard to go through,” Ravanelli conceded, speaking to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website.

“It’s a dream, but dreams can come true. The history of football teaches us that miracles can happen, so for that reason we have to believe.

“Even if we go out though we should do it with our heads held high, honouring the shirt, just like [Coach Max] Allegri said.

“Juventus will have to play with few defensive errors, have that bit of luck that always helps the big teams and be as clinical as possible.”

Tonight could be Gianluigi Buffon’s last Champions League match, as the Juve captain could retire at the end of the season.

“It will be up to Gigi to decide, we’ll support any decision he makes. We want to see him on the pitch forever, but we know he’s not getting any younger.

“I think that, however it goes, he’ll remain as a legend not just of Italian football, but world football.”
