“We did well to not concede because they are very strong going forward,” the defender said of the Lazio stalemate.

“It’s a shame we didn’t bring the three points home. The important thing was to not lose in a direct head-to-head. The League is very long.

“Now we are looking ahead to Fiorentina, but we will have a little longer to recover and put things back into place. I am confident.

“In the past things were going very well for us. Now, little incidents are going against us. We need to keep working.”
