Andrea Ranocchia has called for his Inter teammates to forget their draw with Cagliari at the weekend and focus on the upcoming clash with Roma.

The Nerazzurri drew 1-1 with the Isolani, but go into the game with the Giallorossi on Saturday fourth in the table.

“We drew with Cagliari,” he told Sport Mediaset. “But that has to be forgotten about. Now we just have to think about Roma.

“I’m not surprised to see Roma where they are. They are a strong team and have no European competition to play for.

“Hopefully we can win though. Not playing in Europe is not nice for us, but in moments like this it can be an advantage.

“It helps you concentrate on tough League matches.”
