Roma boss Claudio Ranieri has spoken of his dream to win the Champions League with his hometown club.

Interviewed on Sky Italia, the Tinkerman hastened to add that he keeps his dream to himself because it would send the city crazy.

"It's a dream come true to be the Coach of your city's team, of the team that you supported as a boy and with whom you started your career, and then after 35 years of travelling Italy and Europe returning as Coach," Ranieri said.

"It's something wonderful."

"Sure it's a taxing job because you have a double responsibility as a Coach and as a fan.

"Bringing the Champions League to Rome. I don't dare think about it. Everyone would go crazy.

"It would be the most beautiful thing ever seen in the capital."
