“My commission depends on the player’s salary, it’s the same for everyone. I don’t point a gun at anyone’s head,” he continued to La Repubblica.
“Of course [it influences the market]. I don’t want to find myself on August 29 still deciding what needs to be done.
“The point with commission is: do I earn a lot or do I earn too much? I agree that I earn a lot.
“Today a big club is worth €4bn, it’s all in proportion. Money is part of the show. And besides, it’s not money that motivates me.
“I was already a millionaire at the age of 20. I could simply lay on a beach and live off my income. FIFA hides its problems so it can attack agents.”
The agent was known for his dislike of Milan under the ownership of Yonghong Li and tried to move on Donnarumma two years ago…
“The fans should apologise for Donnarumma: Mino, you were right. I wanted to take him elsewhere because I didn’t trust that Milan [owned by Li], just like I didn’t trust Thohir’s Inter. Tell me I wasn’t right about him!
“I may be politically incorrect and not much of a romantic, but my aim is to maximise the careers of my players.
“I always ask myself: ‘What would I do if he was my son?’ Money is only the last step.”
