“At the moment we are not talking about the transfer market,” Raiola told Mediaset Premium Sport before doing precisely that.
“There are only six clubs who can afford him, so it’s easy to guess who they are. If Pogba found a more important project, then Juventus must take that into account.
“In any case, he is happy in Turin and never denied that. Juventus are a very big club and a great team. Paul has to grow, it’s true, and he is at Juve now, so any transfer would have to pass first through the Bianconeri.
“He always wants to test himself against any reality, be it Juve, another team or France.”
Real Madrid are believed to be the favourites for Pogba after Raiola told Spanish papers they had begun “initial” negotiations.
“I said he likes Zinedine Zidane, finds Real Madrid fascinating the same way he does Barcelona, Manchester United, PSG, Manchester City, Chelsea and also Juventus,” said the agent.
“Are the offers for Pogba we read about every day fake? You say they are fake because offers are only real when written from one club to another.
“Players always aim to move forward, that is not a problem. The real problem is now that transfer gossip has become more important than football played on the pitch and that’s not right. Transfer gossip is fake and has become like a reality show.”
How much is Pogba truly worth in today’s market place?
“The value of every player is dictated by the buyer and the market. The important thing is what the people who want to buy the player think.
“Do Real Madrid have the potential to sign Pogba? It’s a club that has always been accustomed to moving the frontiers of any idea we had before, so they can do what they want.”
