Agent Mino Raiola has revealed that he wants to “bring a big player” to Real Madrid, strengthening rumours about a possible move for Manchester United midfielder and Juventus target Paul Pogba.

The influential agent has revealed that he has a “very good” relationship with Los Blancos and points out that his dream is to help them get a champion to the Santiago Bernabeu.

“My relationship with Real Madrid is very good,” Raiola told Marca. “I often speak to José Angel, it’s interesting, as well as a pleasure, to talk to him about football and the events related to FIFA.

“One day I hope to bring a great champion to Real. At the moment, I have [Alphonse] Areola, but it’s on loan. This summer I would like to bring a big player to Madrid on a permanent deal. It would be a pride for me and for all my players, because Real are a great side.”

The Sun reported that Paul Pogba will be leaving Old Trafford and has linked him with both Juventus and Real Madrid.

“Paul is going through a delicate moment, but I want to highlight, because in England they are very sensitive about this, that he is focused on United,” he added. “They want to finish the season on a high and bring the team to the Champions League.

“I can’t know what will happen in the future. In the past, there was a great interest in him, but nothing was done. The present and the future is what counts.”

Erling Braut Haaland was also targeted by Italian clubs this winter, but the Norwegian starlet ended up at Borussia Dortmund.

Raiola has calmed the links away from Dortmund already after six months and has praised the 19-year-old’s great start at the Signal Iduna Park.

“He is a jewel, a very important player and it’s a pleasure to see how he grows with every game,” Raiola added. “Nobody thought he would settle in the German Bundesliga so early, it’s not easy to go from Austria to Germany, but for him it was not a problem.

“He still needs to develop a lot; he is burning the stages. When he left Salzburg, I thought it was not the right time, now I don’t think he will leave Dortmund this summer.”
