“Matthijs de Ligt has agreed terms with Juventus and now it’s up to Ajax,” confirmed agent Mino Raiola, amid reports of PSG and Barcelona revivals.

It has been widely reported for over a week now that the Bianconeri secured a five-year contract with the defender worth around €9m per year plus bonuses.

The initial offer to his club was of €50m, because De Telegraaf claims Ajax promised a year ago to let him leave for that sum if he resisted transfer opportunities until 2019.

Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are rumoured to be considering another attempt at personal terms, but Raiola insists there will be no Antoine Griezmann-style rebellion.

“That’s out of the question and so is arbitration, as it is not his style.”

Italian reports continue to maintain Juve hope to have De Ligt in Turin for a medical on Wednesday.
