Adrien Rabiot will reportedly not take part in Juventus’ upcoming pre-season tour in the US.

The 27-year-old French midfielder did not have the most convincing campaign under Massimiliano Allegri last season and with one year left on his contract, it’s not hard to imagine him leaving on a free transfer next year.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Rabiot will not join the Juventus squad on their pre-season tour, despite the lack of any injuries or possible transfers on the horizon. It’s reported that ‘personal reasons’ explain why he’ll not make the trip over to the US with his teammates.

Allegri will be keen to see his strengthened squad in the coming weeks, adding key figures like Angel Di Maria, Paul Pogba and Gleison Bremer.

Juventus will fly to the US tomorrow ahead of several pre-season friendlies. On July 23 they’ll face  Chivas Guadalajara in Las Vegas, before traveling to Dallas to take on Xavi’s Barcelona. On July 30 they’ll face Real Madrid in Pasadena.

  1. @el cid – i hope so – Fagioli has to get his place.

Hope we sell Rabiot – should get minimum 20m euros for him – this should fund extra 10m euros zaniola transfer fee difference – roma want

  2. I think Juve still need to sell players like Rabiot, McKeanny, Arthur and Ramsey. And with that money Juve can improve it’s midfield with other much better players.
