Adrien Rabiot is back on Italian soil, according to reports, and will begin his 14-day quarantine before he can resume training with Juventus.

The midfielder had tried to postpone his return to Turin and was the only player other than Gonzalo Higuain – who was given permission to be with his ill mother in Argentina – who still hadn’t come back from abroad.

Although group training can resume for the squad on Monday, Rabiot only now begins his mandatory quarantine period.

Although group training can resume for the squad on Monday, Rabiot only now begins his mandatory quarantine period.

He’ll then receive two swabs for COVID-19 and a blood test before he can be allowed to train with his teammates, which should be around May 27.

However, the tension remains with Juventus, especially after Rabiot’s Instagram Stories post.

“When you realise it was your last day of… strike!” wrote the midfielder.

According to Sky Sport Italia, there will be a confrontation with the club before he is allowed back into the group.

Everton and Manchester United have been repeatedly linked with a summer move, as he was picked up as a free agent by Juve last year.
