“I do miss training, my teammates and the match situation. I feel great and the knee is reacting well to all the work we're doing,” he told Juventus.com.

“It was my first major surgery, so I didn't know how my body would react and everything was a big question mark in my mind. Slowly I saw an improvement every day and relaxed a little.

“I am always concentrated on my knee and the feelings I experience when making certain movements, checking there is nothing wrong.

“I'm lucky to be able to count on the Juventus medical staff, who are among the best in the world. I feel this injury was in my destiny.”
