Udinese winger Ignacio Pussetto has claimed the Friuli ‘deserved a bit more’ against Milan and vowed to ‘work hard to try to turn things around’.

Rodrigo de Paul scored a penalty to equalise Franck Kessie’s opener, before Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s acrobatic strike sealed a 2-1 win for the League leaders at the Dacia Arena yesterday.

Pussetto felt the home side did well and ‘could have drawn’ with the high flying Rossoneri.

“We deserved a bit more, we could have drawn, but we know that this is the right way to score points,” Pussetto said after the match, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Today, we changed the formation a little, we did well. We need time and work to be able to fix the mechanisms. Some players here need to get to know their teammates well.”

Udinese are left third to bottom after one win and five defeats in six games and the 24-year-old said the Bianconeri ‘deserve’ a better position in the table.

“We don’t deserve this position; we must work hard and the next match against Sassuolo will already be important to try to turn things around.”
