Roma are close to left-back Jetro Willems after PSV Eindhoven announced he was “given the opportunity to complete a transfer.”
PSV placed a statement on their official club website today, noting “Jetro Willems has left the training camp. He has been given the opportunity to complete a transfer.
“At the request of the parties, no further details are to be shared at this time.”
The 23-year-old Dutch international’s current contract is due to expire at the end of the season.

Roma are the favourites for Willem’s signature in a deal worth in the region of €9m.
He has 22 senior caps for the Netherlands and last season scored two goals with three assists in the Eredivisie.
Roma already signed another defender, Hector Moreno, from PSV Eindhoven this summer for €5.7m.
