According to Tuttosport, the negotiations are continuing and Napoli would release him for €100m.

The proposal on the table from PSG includes a salary worth €8m per year plus bonuses.

Il Mattino newspaper maintains the transfer fee offered was €65m, so significantly off the asking price.

PSG could still be laying the groundwork for this summer, discussing a potential sponsorship deal for Napoli with Qatar Airways.

Meanwhile, the Ligue 1 giants have already boosted their midfield ranks with Leandro Paredes from Zenit St Petersburg.
