Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United have both reportedly approached Tiemoue Bakayoko with a view to signing the ex-Milan midfielder.

Bakayoko spent last season on loan at Milan, making 42 appearances in all competitions and becoming a fans’ favourite in the process.

However, the Rossoneri chose not to take up their €35m option to buy and RMC Sport claims new PSG sporting director Leonardo wants a reunion with the 24-year-old, who has since returned to Chelsea.

However, the Rossoneri chose not to take up their €35m option to buy and RMC Sport claims new PSG sporting director Leonardo wants a reunion with the 24-year-old, who has since returned to Chelsea.

However, the broadcaster warns the French champions face competition from United, who are ‘very interested’ in the player.

The Red Devils have also ‘made contact’ with their Premier League rivals, who cannot register any new players this summer due to a transfer ban.

Chelsea are expected to make a final decision over Bakayoko, a €40m arrival from Monaco in the summer of 2017, next week.
