PSG hope they can convince Inter to accept €60m plus one or more players in order to release Achraf Hakimi.

It has been widely reported in Italy and France that the Nerazzurri rejected the original €60m proposal for the wing-back.

Inter want at least €80m to part with the 22-year-old Morocco international.

That is because they paid €45m in September 2020 to sign him from Real Madrid, following his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund.

According to le10sport.com in France, PSG are now hoping to bridge the gap by offering one or more players as part of the deal.

That might be difficult, as Inter are in need of fresh funds and are also cutting costs, so would have to bring in players with relatively low wages.

The same source reports that Hakimi has agreed personal terms with Paris Saint-Germain and is prepared to snub any other proposal to make this move happen.
