Sneijder is expected to leave Inter after a contract row, while the future of De Rossi in Rome remains in doubt given his problems fitting in with Zdenek Zeman’s 4-3-3 system.
“Sneijder and De Rossi will not be coming,” boss Carlo Ancelotti commented. “Paris Saint-Germain’s market strategy is very clear. The only new arrival will be Lucas.
“Sneijder has the characteristics to play for any club in the world, but that doesn’t mean that he will come here or that we’ve even spoken to him.
“What is certain is that he won’t come. It’s the same situation for De Rossi.”
PSG wrapped up a deal with Sao Paulo in the summer for Brazilian international Lucas who was also being chased by Inter.
