Paris Saint-Germain consider Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer to be their top priority on the transfer market this summer, claim reports in France.

The interest in Bennacer has never been disguised and they are now stepping up their pursuit for next season.

The 22-year-old Algeria international was purchased from Empoli in August 2019 for €16m, but is already valued at twice that.

There is a release clause in his contract worth €50m, but it’s also reported that won’t be active until June 2021.

PSG are in a hurry, they believe Bennacer to be the key to rebuilding their midfield for the future and are ready to break the bank this summer.

It won’t be easy, as the Rossoneri have already turned down proposals worth €30m and they consider him to be off the market.
